2009: San Francisco, CA
Consultants: BBI Engineering
Architect: Nichols Booth
In this design/build project, BBI built a corporate auditorium and broadcast facililty. This space includes videoconferencing capabilities with four high-definition pan-tilt-zoom cameras, multipurpose preview and display monitors, a 103″ plasma display and two high powered projectors. There are three touchpanel control panels that allow users of multiple levels of technical expertise. This room is designed to either be standalone, or to work with external broadcast equipment.
Because room finishes were so important, BBI worked closely with the architect in this project, making sure that the equipment blended with the room’s visual aesthetic.
