National Cowgirl Museum – “Bronc Ride”
2002-2003: Ft. Worth, TX
Chroma Key Video
Designer: West Office Exhibition Design
A big hit for kids! The horse is mounted on a pivot so you can rock wildly back and forth in front of a “green screen”. A camera records your ride and then superimposes the image of you and the horse onto a rodeo background.
This 30 second video is stored on the museum’s servers for 30 days. When you exit the ride a printer prints a thumbnail image of you along with a number and the museum’s web address. From home you can access the web site and download your video.
We have similar systems installed at Zeum, a San Francisco children’s museum.
