The Phyllis Wattis Theater at SFMOMA is a small multi-use venue built for public events, presentations, art installations, cinema, and theatrical/music performance. Working with Meyer Sound, BBI installed 3 separate audio systems to match the versatility of the venue. There is a main PA for general presentations, a Meyer Constellation voice lift system, and a full 7.1 surround sound system for digital cinema. When the Constellation is in engaged, microphones automatically drop down from the ceiling on servoreelers and retract for other uses of the space.
